Picnic

A couple of weeks ago Lexi and I invited Nate's mom up for a picnic at the park. It was a great day and we enjoyed each others company. Lexi and I have really enjoyed our first summer together. Last weekend we went and did a 5K walk with the Relief Society and that was a lot of fun. We have been going swimming usually once a week which results in a long nap for Lexi and a lot of peace and quiet for me. One of Lexi's new favorite past times is going on the front porch at night and blowing bubbles. We love our new home and feel very blessed to be in such a great community!

Swimming

We took Lexi to the swimming pool for her first time on Saturday. We live pretty close to the swimming pool so we walked there. When we got there this is what Lexi looked like.

Lexi didn't know what to think at first about the swimming pool, but luckily after a few minutes decided she liked the splashing and the little water falls she could put her hands in.

4th of July Celebration

We had a fantastic 4th of July. We started off the morning with a nice hike up Devil's Head with our friends Nicole and Zach. After the hike we went over to Nate's sisters house for a barbecue and fireworks. The best part was being with people we loved.
