Saturday Mornings

Each morning between 6 AM and 7 AM Lexi knows that the day has begun and she wants to be held and loved. A half hour after you pick her up she falls asleep in your arms and takes a nap. Nate has been so sweet that each Saturday morning he gets up with her. It's nice because I get a good two hours of solid sleep until she wants to eat again, and Nate really enjoys holding her.

Huge Helper!!

Nate is a great dad!! He adores Lexi and spoils her with love. He is always willing to help change diapers and hold Lexi. I told Nate that Lexi requested he get up at night each time she does. He told me this is where tough love comes in.

Visit from Grandma!!

My mom aka Grandma Downs was able to come up for a visit after Lexi was born. It was a lot of fun and we all really enjoyed spending time together! Needless to say that Lexi wasn't feeling neglected with both Grandma's in the same house.

Tummy Time!

One of Lexi's favorite things to do is tummy time. Actually it is one of her parent's and grand parent's favorite things to watch. Her legs start kicking really fast and she makes all kinds of funny noises as she tries to figure out how to move around.

First Night in the Crib!

Lexi slept in her crib for the first time and loved it! We are very excited that she now has her own room.

Alexandria Marie

Alexandria Marie Lund was born on January 11, 2008 at 8:29 AM. She was 7lbs 12.5 oz and 20.5 inches long. We call her Lexi for short. She has very long fingers which will be great for the piano, but even better for a future setting career in volleyball.
